Marriage & Civil Partnership Celebration
The beauty of a celebrant-led ceremony is that because you're not restricted to venues approved by the local authority, you are totally free to celebrate your Marriage or Civil Partnership anywhere and in any way you like! Whether it's up a mountain, on the beach, or even in your own living room, I will work with you to create the ceremony of your dreams.
Planning Meeting
Before the big day we will meet at least twice, either in person or online (depending on your preference) and I’ll be finding out all about you as a couple, your unique love story, as well as your hopes and dreams for the future; It’s this information that will form the heart of the ceremony. You can decide whether you wish to make personalised vows or promises to one another and what form you’d like these to take - I’ll be there to guide you and offer advice every step of the way!
When we meet you can also tell me all about your vision for your ceremony - anything and everything else you would like to include. As well as symbolic actions such as the exchanging of rings, handfasting, the lighting of unity candles etc, why not have your dog walk you up the aisle? Or have your guests take a tequila shot as you say ‘I do.’ The only limit really is your imagination!
Creating your perfect ceremony
After we have decided on the content for your ceremony you can relax while I get on with writing your ceremony script. You can make changes or additions at any time, it’s your ceremony after all, just let me know. I’ll keep in contact and you can call or email me whenever you like. As the day of the ceremony approaches you’ll receive a full draft script for approval, and we can make sure it’s absolutely perfect. You may wish to have a rehearsal before the day itself, which we can also arrange.
On the day
I will be arriving early to your chosen venue and making sure that everything is just right. I’ll check in with the photographer and venue staff and I’ll greet your guests as they arrive, ensuring that all the key players such as ring bearers and readers are organised and in the right place.
After the ceremony has finished, I’ll leave you with a high quality souvenir script of your bespoke ceremony as a keepsake of your perfect day.

Vow Renewals & Commitment Ceremonies
Many couples wish to renew their vows, for many varied and individual reasons, perhaps it’s a milestone anniversary or an important time in your relationship. Whatever your reasons- you can reaffirm your commitment to your partner whenever you like!
A Commitment Ceremony might be a suitable option for couples who wish to declare their love publicly and make personal vows of commitment without any of the legal ties of a marriage.
Just as in a wedding celebration or a civil partnership celebration, I will work with you to create a fully bespoke and unique ceremony that celebrates you as a couple and is a reflection of your relationship. Some married couples choose to rededicate their rings, or you may wish to include your children or other family members in the ceremony through the inclusion of symbolic actions such as a unity candle or tree planting. Just as with a wedding celebration there really are endless options!
After the ceremony you will receive a high quality keepsake script as a way of remembering your day.
